I finished up my Race Deck floor install. It took about 5 hours total with two people and not rushing. This is my second time doing a garage, so I knew to already have a plan of how I would go about cutting tiles to fit around where the base of the garage protrudes and the entrance into the house. My garage has about an inch step-up to the entrance from the driveway, so I installed the edges about an inch inward, so the tires would not grab them on that step-up. I also installed two new 1.25 hp belt drive garage door openers; Overkill for single garage doors, but silent and fast :)

I'd love to do this but that's many thousands isn't it?

It's not as expensive as you might think. I was going to go with a different brand/cheaper, but when Race Deck discounted for being a garage journal member it brought the price down to within less than $200 for the cheaper brand.
My garage is right at 400 square feet (21x19) and with the discount pricing, the total cost was $1340.

I'd love to do this but that's many thousands isn't it?

I've had my car 5 weeks and got gas twice. 93 both times cause it's basically the same price 87 was when I bought it.

LOL, the last time I bought gas in my Mustang was the beginning of March. I think I have only driven all of our 4 cars maybe 50-60 miles. My wife has driven more as she goes to check on her parents once a week. I think our bikes have about the same number of miles. For some reason it feels like that should be a good thing, but I actually liked driving into work a couple days a week.....can't wait to be able to do that again. :frown:

Looks great! I am thinking of getting it as well. It does seem to be pretty easy to do.

Haha, no I haven’t. Odometer just rolled over 500 miles and it had 250 on it when I got it. When I do drive, I drive fast. 15mpg average and dropping lol. But, I bought the car to have fun, not fuel economy. Let er rip, tater chip!

If you can wait for a holiday they always run promotions. I did my whole garage for $800.

Sold it.

A quick thanks to everyone for the enjoyment, education, as well as the sales and purchases from M6G.

I'll still lurk and comment once in a while.
