Hey guys, i was installing mishimoto catch can earlier and when i went under the car and tried to remove white plastic clip that holds the hose to the actual pcv which is 90 degree swivel i pulled the whole pcv out of the breather box and broke one side of the round ring clip.

I managed to put pcv back together and popped it back in and one side of the round clip is holding it but feels loose still and can rock back and forth. Should he ok temporarily but i was wondering if anyone had the part number for pcv with the round clip so i can fix the issue, thanks very much!

Rock back and forth how much? Dole fittings are suppose to rock slightly. As long as you can't yank it off, you are ok.

Separator (entire part with ring and PCV Valve): FR3Z-6A785-A

This is the LRU (Lowest Replaceable Unit), Ford doesn't sell the parts separately.
The PCV to Manifold hose ("Vent Hose" - FR3Z-6A664-A, MOTORCRAFT KCV280) is the same way - they do NOT sell the plastic clips by themselves.

If you need something just to get by you can put the bigger half of the broken piece back in and it will hold just fine until you can get a replacement one. Dont ask how i know.

The white plastic clips ON the hose ends are 1/2":
Dorman 800-040
NAPA 730-7380
Available on Amazon Prime ;)
How on Earth did you figure that out? I broke a clip and had to buy a whole new hose, because I couldn't.

For the price of some of those clips, you would almost be better off buying a new hose. They are very proud of those.

I'm old school - I cut my teeth on Old parts catalogs, cross reference manuals and The Hollander Interchange Guides..

Dorman $8
NAPA $12
Motorcraft Complete part $26
Ford Dealer $56

Your call, I have no dog in this fight.
Besides, I used the factory ends to create a custom hose for a PCV CC set up, so $8 is nothing.

So this leads me back to a post I did what frickin tools can you buy to properly undo the clip and then snap them in place. I’ve been using a small screwdriver to remove an Channelocks to snap back in but there must be a proper tool.
