Hi everyone, just wondering if anybody has had there drivers seat die on them completely. Mine has no power functions whatsoever and the setting for entry/exit has been grayed out as an option.

The lumbar portion still works so there is power for the circuit. Thinking of changing the driver seat module which lives under the seat as my car is out of warranty. My16 with memory seat.

Shouldn’t be hard to change but just wondering about programming the hard/soft stops and if it can be done via Forscan!

Thx in advance

There have been reports that the power seat connector under the seat shorting out.

I can’t find the exact post at the moment, but search the seat swap thread in the interior sub-forum, I think it was mentioned there.

@HoosierDaddy well I had installed a dashcam following the directions to use a fuse 2 and fuse 26 for battery hot and accessory hot but for whatever reason it was screwing up the system. As soon as I undid the work it came back to life.

It didn’t blow any fuses but it was dragging down the system I guess.

Have to come up with a different way of powering the thinkware dashcam I guess.
