Guy #1 molded the factory R-splitter and began to produce these. Primarily selling them on Facebook and Ebay I believe. Guy #1 catches flack for some issues on a couple and not standing behind them and puts the molds of for sale to guy#2 who owns the website above. Guy#2 raises the price by like $100 and noone seems to have any direct contact information with this guy.
I was one of the last to buy from Guy#1 before he sold out to Guy#2. I must say the splitter looks and fits exactly like OEM. He did a nice job. Yes, had to buy via a FB process (was kind of strange back then). But it arrived with all the hardware and looks very nice. No complaints.

Reporting back I have the replica and a OEM R splitter. The replica is lighter and made from harder plastic that means if it makes contact with something it may crack. The OEM is softer plastic so for daily use its a better solution. Fit and Finish are about the same though. A tab on my replica cracked when I tried to remove it so I am using the OEM one again.

Fit and Finish there is not a huge difference.

Therein lies one of the problems with that guy and a company like this. You had good luck with the quality; I am glad. Several did not. It seems to be literally hit or miss with these guys. You made out, but overall I think the risk is not worth it. I backed out because he wouldn’t accept PayPal and now glad I did.

OEM plastic R splitter for $1500 or Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber GT350R? Hmm. Tough choice.

Not really.

Have the Replica and a light hit let mine broken....Better to Go with the OEM.

Apparently there is evidence of "hard plastic" replica vs oem carbon fiber composite.
