Engine randomly cutting power 2015 gt

Check your battery. If it's never been replaced it's probably time. These cars do very weird things when the battery is going bad.

As a side note to your mention of battery:
A friend of mine has a 2019. He was having issues with the idle quality. Car would stall periodically. Logs showed quite clearly that the cams were doing some funky stuff at idle.
Replaced battery, all good ever since.

Interesting, I’ll definitely check it out, although the car starts fine so I wouldn’t think the battery is the cause

Wish they would make it so it acts more like a normal car when the battery is failing and just simply not or have trouble starting.

Then again, I'm glad it isn't a normal car.

The weird stuff, although totally understandable is disconcerting.
Just remember to replace every 3-4 years and all will be ok.

Hi guys just an update, I haven’t had a chance to get a new shorter datalog yet as I’ve been helping some friends with work on their car and helping family with stuff on their house this weekend. I’ll go out tomorrow and try to get one for you to look at. I did check my battery and it’s only a year old or so and it seems to be holding between 12.3-12.6 volts without the car running so I don’t think it’s the battery. Also I didn’t have this issue before putting in the cat deletes, new clutch and stage 3 mt-82 from Ben calimer. So it’s got to be something related to the work I just did.

I’ve been trying to get a short datalog of the issue but it’s difficult to catch it. Does Anyone know how to trim a data log and save a small section?

So after talking to calimer, I found out I need a custom tune to update for the different gear ratios in the stage 3 mt-82 I put in.

Just a follow up, I got tuned through Shaun at aed and he updated the gear ratios for the stage 3 trans. All issues were resolved.
I must say Shaun is great to work with and his tune is smooth and powerful. I couldn’t be happier.
