Tried doing a search for LTH (the company) catback and got a ton of hits for long tube header (the part) with catbacks. So I figured I'd make a clear post.

Anyone use their catback? I heard the sound from the Scorpion catback on YouTube... sounded great. The patriot tips also look great.

Don't know anything about their Titan finish. Was wondering if anyone has experience with their stuff.

We sell alot of LTH exhaust and they are high quality stuff for sure. I would recommend their setup. Hit me up if you have any specific questions or would like to see the prices we offer on them over at Lethalperformance.com.

Got a Scorpion catback installed. Going to try and do some sound clips here soon (though I don't have a GoPro) but I can say that it is a pretty damn good system. Has a muscle car grunt and growl (with an X pipe nonetheless) and has really great volume (especially above 6k). My daughter called it an angry ogre when she was in the back seat. :) I'll say this, I doubt the clips will do the system justice at all.

Customer service: 5 out of 5
  • Easy folks to deal with, got responses quick, and they were totally upfront with everything from the get go. For being a semi-custom job, it went much smoother than I expected. Even was very quick with helping with the installation when we had some questions. Top notch.:like:
Install: 3 out of 5
  • Definitely not the easiest of systems to put on. In all fairness, I have aftermarket parts on my car so those who have stock cars may have an easier time. This took some playing around to get this to fit. Had to mess with the rear sway bar some in order to get it in there good. Nothing that I would say extremely difficult, just something you should be aware of going into the install so that you carve out extra time.
  • There are some really small clearances between some critical components (sway bar, diff cover, and frame) that I am going to follow up on later to see how it is doing.
Look: 5 out of 5
  • The tips go further out than stock but damn it looks good. Got the American flag etched into the black tips which looks great even from a distance. :captain: 'Merica
Sound: 4 out of 5
  • Like I said, muscle car grunt. It sounds better than H-pipe systems I have heard. Just love the volume and the sound. My fuel economy is going to suffer for awhile due to hitting the fun button harder than usual, I can tell already.
  • One thing I will be honest about (and the reason why I took a star away) is the drone at 1500 RPM. I'm not going to lie, its worse than other systems I have owned but not the worst I have ever heard. It is a bad RPM for me as it is one I stay in when I do city driving. But with a bit of change to my driving style, it was easily mitigated.
Been a Borla guy for a very long time. I'm actually glad I made the jump on this one and didn't go with my default exhaust. I am really looking forward to driving this more and getting it on the track to listen to it scream.

She's a bit dirty but it has been raining off and on here. Though it hasn't affected the sound :)

My Scorpion axle-back is shipping Wednesday....can't wait to get it installed. Will start out with the stock resonator and go to an H-pipe if it's too quiet!

Also posted this in the exhaust note thread but here's the first cold start of the Scorpion axle back with factory resonator and cats. Don't know why the audio is choppy but you get the idea. Also a relaxed drive-away clip. I love it. Not obnoxiously loud, no booming 2000 rpm drone, not tinny or raspy at all. It's not much louder than stock but it's much more consistent than stock over the entire rev range. Interior sound is very pleasant, would be a great daily driver exhaust. Higher rpms make it sound more exotic than old school muscle. Shoutout to George at LTH for the tech info and @beefcake Terry for the great price! Also posting a couple pics so you can see the insides, it's almost a straight through design, and some install pics.

Sounds great @Jons5.0! Looks like another satisfied Scorpion owner. I took a ride tonight and still loving it, it just sounds so good at startup and again when you get on it above about 3000 rpm. Sounds like a race car. May some day replace the factory resonator with an H-pipe but as far as great tone with no drone, can't see replacing these any time soon. LTH is on to something with these, I think the J-pipes make the difference between these and most other axle backs.

How did you solve the clearance issue with the sway bar and differentials? My right side exhaust seems okay, but left side is touching the sway bar
