So due to what I've heard and what I have picked of from some you guys , I have a question here. From what I'm learning from some responses is that a CEL defouler gives false codes to the computer. Hence possibly making the car run lean or rich . I've also read running lean or rich can damage an engine.
So my new question is , if I install these high flow cats in my car, what should i
(1) then do with the o2 sensors ?
(2) do to avoid CEL light (without a tune if possible because it is very expensive and if I can I am at the moment under warranty and trying to avoid that ) ?

Honestly just hold off for now. wait and save for the proper setup and or until warranty is over. Do it the correct way

I would personally not go the defouler route honestly. On older cars they work well, but on these cars, its hard to trick the ecu now a days. Like stated, I would get the tune, as it gives you both peace of mind and makes power out of the car as well.

What a bunch of "CYA"

The secondary 02 sensor has nothing to do with fueling, just Cat efficiency.

New here and don't know how to edit.

If you want proof of what I say, run a 1/4 mile then unhook the rear or secondary 02 sensor and run the 1/4 again. You will find the times to be REAL close.

If you data log the logs will be the same.

For all intents and purposes this is true, however the downstream O2 will be used to also help the ECU detect an upstream sensor that is starting to drift due to age. This only really applies if the stock logic is in place.
