Based on what’s going on right now I doubt there are going to be any announcements anytime soon. :frown: I sure hope I’m wrong!

Ultimately most of the cars you see in camo in Dearborn are just telemetry cars. You can drive right on to their lot behind the engineering buildings and see them often. They're just cars for engineers to drive around in and get data. No big whoop.

This totally random and I notice that it has a GT350 in the photo, but has this always said mustang is available with three transmissions and not list the MT82? It only lists one manual, the tremec.... This paragraph also seems to refer to the mustang in general.

This seems optimistic to me, but I hope they can restart production as soon as they think they can :)

Restarting production and announcing anything new car related are two different things... Ford seems intent on holding to in person events instead of adopting technology and announcing things online. They indefinitely delayed the Bronco announcement due to this virus and that vehicle is arguably WAY more important to Ford right now then the Mustang.

NAIAS is also cancelled now. So Ford should feel free to just announce the car online. But based on what happened with the 18 Refresh and the Mach-E, I guess the car will leak before the official reveal

Oh, I agree......Bronco, Bronco Sport and, especially, new F150 are more important to Ford, at least in terms of new sales, than the '21MY Mustang. With news that the NAIAS is cancelled for this year I'm sure they'll be rethinking their reveal approach.
