Dunno if this is the thread for it, but I noticed that there is a bit of disparity between the stated 2019 and 2020 curb weights on the Ford website, per the attached images (2019 on top, 2020 on the bottom).

Is this Ford's webdev not coding correctly, or did the car gain ~500 pounds, trim for trim, for the 2020 model year? I know there were more than a few eyebrows raised at the weight of the GT500, and I do remember that the S197 car supposedly had weight increases on non-GT500 models because they were stamping certain things thicker for the 500 and using those same pieces on standard cars to keep costs in check, but...

Does anyone know the weight of the following 2 items:

- Performance Pack lower K-brace (the one that attaches to the K-member)

- Performance Pack firewall connector (the one that attaches to, both, the upper K-brace and the firewall in order to tie/secure the entire assembly to the firewall)

Thanks

Anyone know the weight of the black accent package wheels? I’ve heard many different measurements, anyone got the real one? Much appreciation if you do!

In the spirit of weight reduction, does anyone know exactly what these black brace/plates are In the front wheel wells? They feel pretty solid and heavy, but I’m not too sure how structurally necessary they are

Hey all, This is a great thread and I've referenced the first page quite a bit over the years.

However I have a question regarding the A/C and stereo systems. I'm thinking about deleting both and wanted to know how much each
weighs so I can evaluate if it's worth it to take out. I didn't see them on the first page (but I also didn't read all 40 pages of this thread).

Can anyone shed some light on these items?

I'm currently at 3638 on a full tank and I'm looking at a lightweight ATX-20HD battery as well as the above stated items.

Thank you.

The 2020 numbers are obviously GVWRs, since they're 500+ lbs more, and the cars are identical.

On a separate note, I wonder what's the official weight of a PP1 GT, to compare it to the 3,850-lb Bullitt weight. Seems high to me, but I'm sure it's true :). And after adding Steeda jacking rails, a jumper battery, flat tire kit, etc., it's even more than that now. Oh well. At least I'm only 160#. Ha ha.

Forgive my laziness in searching the thread after failing to find it in the OP: is there any word on how much the GT PP2 wheels weigh? What about wheel + tire?

Black accent wheel + stock Pirelli P Zero tires = 58.6 lbs.

I didn't see a confirmed weight on the stock premium leather, heated and cooled seats on the thread. Weighed my passenger seat today from my 2019 GT with headrest at 54.3 lbs.

Both weights taken on normal scale, weighed myself first and then myself with item 3 times to confirm.

Base Ecoboost front brake weights...

Caliper without bracket/pads: 6.1 lb.
Caliper bracket with pads: 6.4 lb.
Rotor: 19.5 lbs.

My car has about 4k miles, so the pads are close to new. The caliper was weighed with the hose attached (but slack of course) and the system was NOT drained.
