Creditors are about to get fucked, as is auto financing, mortgage lenders, etc. Today it was announced the unemployment numbers topped 3 million and will only continue to rise. I’m sure it’ll hit 5-7 million plus. Small businesses will collapse and this is going to get far more ugly before it gets better.

i don't think you can really compare the "total infected" figure between countries, your testing capabilities are insane. don't believe the UK "cases" figures. we aren't testing anyone unless they're in hospital so the figure is likely far far larger. That's why the death rate looks so much higher here. We're being told we don't have the resource to do it.

A more appropriate response would have been something like "the medical experts on the Coronavirus Response Team are evaluating the need for a request of this size. I'd like to wait to hear their collective opinion on this"
