I've heard of Danos - any other improvements besides the touchy throttle?

My throttle was touchy but I got used to it but nevertheless ordered and installed the throttle tube from the '19+ GSX-S1000 (same as the '20 Katana). I've yet to ride it but it's supposed to be a bit better. Also installed Koso heated grips but again too damn chilly to get out - thank goodness the Mustang scratches my itch when the roads are dry and the temps are above freezing.

Ive had like 7 gsxr's I have them all flashed by danos, he removes that engine braking off throttle, completely opens up the bike, the fuel mapping is completely fixed, your bike you may like it now. But you would LOVE it after he flashed it, even all stock configuration. I had it flashed on stock, I just decided to cut the cat, and had him readjust the fueling to compensate.

I was the first GSXS to be flashed actually, he has been doing it for like 20 years, he used to work for nasa if I recall, then got into motorcycle business and such.

Anyway, dude knows what he's doing, and will make it right. On one bike I had to send ECU back to get a slight adjustment, but he's always been great about it. If you decide to chop cat off or mod thing etc. he will make the changes to your mapping for like 20-30 bucks if time ever came.

Dano is my go to guy. Love his work.

These are all options
(he will go through the options with you and decide what's best for you and your wants)

The bikes acceleration will go from what you thought was awesome, to a massive smile on your face.

Broken left leg, broken right ankle, broken ribs. I was going 60ish, guy who hit me was doing 90 plus. They said that he hit me, I went airborn, struck his windshield and rolled off. He took off and if he didn't hit a minivan and got disabled while trying to escape, he'd of been long gone. Witnesses stated that I should have died in that accident. Or paralyzed at minimum. I was extremely lucky.

Needless to say, after that I hung up my riding gear. I had already put my ol lady through hell a few times before that. I used to club road race at Sears Point and Willow Springs. Went down at over a buck at Willow and crashed hard. Went down twice at Sears Point over a buck in speed and the last crash, I was air ambulanced to the hospital.

I'm a small bike guy and really love the Japanese bikes of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Sport bikes of the late 80s and early 90s are among my favorite. USA didnt get the lower CC racers. We got the 600cc+ bikes. I'm not 6' plus, so I like the way the 600 and under fit. I just sold my sxr900 ... damn thing had too much power IMO...Sweet spot for me is 250 duel 2s- stroke to 600 4s - 4stroke. You can toss then rip the throttle and not have to worry about the torque getting you into trouble. Plus I like to have my feet, damn near the whole foot, flat on the ground. Not tip toes.

What was once just a bare rim, hub, and a box of spokes laying about is now a wheel. It'll be going on the front of my Evo down the road once trued.

Now I can mark wheel lacing off the list of stuff I never thought I'd do. Kind of a mind boggling puzzle from scratch, let me tell you.

I've got a 2012 Ducati Monster 1100evo. Weirdly I don't have any recent pictures. I've had it for about 5 years and it's been wonderful, it's such a great bike. Prior to this I had a Harley Softail and Sportster. This fits my needs better.
The mustang might be my most practical vehicle lol. It's my daily. Bonus picture of an oil change with the other cars in the background.

just throwing out a few more pics. Probably one of the lowest mileage complete original 1990 VFR400Rs you'll see. 400 miles on the clock

You are taking me back man, that is gorgeous! I was too young for one of those at the time, but i cleaned em on the showroom floor and drooled...along with a VTR 750 and the one I’d love to find even still today, an RC51.

My first sport bike was a VTR 250...lol at that color scheme, but i was 13 and smitten!

i put more miles on each of my bikes individually, each year, than i do the mustang. my life revolves around 2 wheels...... as the saying goes, 4 wheels move the body and 2 wheels move the soul.

the current stable....
