Looks killer. Gave up on the roush hockey sticks or just preferred this GT stripe? I’m liking the GT stripe a lot. Where did you get it?

DS

Decided less is more on the decal front and happy with the results. I got them off eBay. I’m selling an identical set in gloss white on here at present in case anyone is interested in them.

Thanks but don’t tempt me re the wheels. I’m not overly keen on the standard GT wheels. Much preferred the shadow edition wheels on the last mustang.
I do like the VF5’s too !
Consider yourself tempted... :shock::like:

Minor mod today to get me through the lockdown. I ordered a few bits n bobs off AliExpress in January and they are finally starting to dribble through !

One of the things I ordered was the uprated rear boot struts to enable the auto opening of the boot. Cost £23 inc delivery so bargain if you’re happy to wait a few weeks

Took less than 5 mins to fit with the aid of a flat blade screwdriver and this is the end result

The action is getting smoother with use. It is notably stiffer to close now, with either two hands either side or one in the middle to close the boot lid now !

In all my years of ownership, had no idea that was a thing! Very cool

And I prefer the performance wheels over my last mustang that had shadow wheels on , it’s good we all have different tastes

Another minor mod today, this time the 302 wing decals.

Always liked them so thought I’d try them on my car. They cost me a whopping £3.67 delivered from AliExpress so excellent value for money !

So here we are all installed;

I then decided it look a bit too fussy with the 302 decal, 5.0 badge, Roush badge and GT lower side decal. So I removed the Roush badges which I think works much better now.

Is that 302 decal on the right way? Like Not fitted right side decal to the left side of the car? I’d have thought the slant of the decal would go with the edge of the wing.

You had me worried then and Googling this ! All the images I found show this is installed the same way I have !

Bought my trunk struts from aliexpress too. Just fitted them. One thing - has that bounce at the end of the Boot opening travel eased with use? It’s a little bit violent for my liking. There’s an image on the website that might imply they are adjustable (but I’m not sure as site is in Dutch!)
