The 500 broke!?

So on a drive to target, I slowed down to stop a a light and the car just died? No over temp no lights or codes flashing, just died. Almost like a battery. Tow guy put a jump box on it and it tried to fire up but wouldn’t. I’m hoping just a cam position sensor! Dealer ship in Florida has it now. I’ll keep you posted.

I had a camshaft position sensor issue on one of my cars. The car will run ok. It will idle rough but not stall. HP will be reduced. If you don't have any codes, you probably have another issue.

I drove the car down from Indiana, hopefully I’ll get a call tomorrow from dealership. Just odd, no sign of fluids draining, no over heat , good oil pressure,?? It actually just seemed like a dead battery, it wouldn’t crank over, but once a battery box was used it actually cranked over, it tried to start but just wouldn’t, didn’t sound good at all?

JB: I forgot to ask how the tow driver dealt with the front splitter? Was it a low boy with ramps?

@kilobravo ,The tow truck was one of Those repo style trucks. It’s got the flat plate that just back to the rear wheels and lifts. He only lifted it maybe 4” in rear.I was a little concerned at first, but it worked well. I also only need a tow to a dealership that was approx 1 mile away.

When the wife says “Target” we go to Target lol. I drove it down from Indiana, so it’s kinda my only vehicle right now
