id first just drop in an kn air filter for gains in mpg and possible noise. but its a sealed unit, so its not going to do much imo. need a BOV and that will make you happy

If you want a little extra intake noise, you can buy a pack of round rubber chair leg caps and plug up the opening of the intake silencer. If you don't like the results, you can simply undo the mod by taking the cap out.

Have an arm filter and Airaid tube. Loving it. Decided that the stick box was just as good as anything else on the market.

I got a steal of a deal on a FP gt350 airbox thanks to @Radiation Joe, so, due to boredom, made it fit.
not a direct drop in, had to trim some pieces to make it fit the Air Raid tube and the cpe charge pipes.
initially made a hood seal, and then made a.plexiglass cover which are both seen in the pic.

Don't do that, the intake temperatures are nuts even with the seal and Plexiglas cover.

That Injen is a very nice looking system. How do you like it? Comparisons vs. stock airbox and Airaid tube?

So far so good, a nice sounding system, get lots of intake whistle.
much lower intake temperatures and recovers very quickly after idling.

Not sure if there is any difference between the stock box and air raid tube. Probably not.......

I do think that system is probably the cleanest looking, most integrated intake design available. I'm currently running stock box/Green filter/Airaid tube. Satisfied with it performance-wise, but may consider Injen for aesthetics/sound if there is no detriment to performance.

Absolutely no decrease in performance. I'd say even.

Hi Chef!

Now that you have had the Injen intake installed for a few weeks, wondering if you are still satisfied with it? Curious if you have any further observations/opinions about sound, throttle response, and power - all compared to stock Airbox with Airaid Tube and high flow drop in filter? As stated earlier, I really like the Injen system aesthetics vs my current setup. Any sound or performance improvement would be nice too. Thank you!

So far so good.
There is a noticeable increase in intake sound compared to the factory/airaid setup.
I replaced the resonator with a y pipe at the same time, so more exhaust whistle as well.
Intake temps are also equivalent.

I can't really say there is.a power increase.
I did a datalog and sent it to my tuner (tune+), and he said no revisions were required.

Looks very good under the hood.
