I have a theory that tramlining is a function of the rear wheel alignment, either as well as front or instead of. The "street" alignment specs for the 2019 GT350R have a much lower rear camber setting than previous years, and I'm not surprised that tramlining is reduced. Of course, I could be totally wrong.

I'm running these same tires on my GT350R, except I'm running staggered with 325s in the back. They completely eliminated the tramlining I was experiencing with the cup 2s, and they have a longer tread life on the street. They were definitely worth the purchase.
Will the 325/30/19 work ok on the back of 2019 GT350 with stock wheels?

Will it work? Yes...if you can stand the look. 325 is pretty wide for a 11” wheel. The tread will be a quite bit wider than the rim, so the sidewall is going to have that folded under look (don’t know how to describe it). The opposite look of the stretch of the stock tire, how bout that. I wouldn’t do it because I wouldn’t be able to stand that, but it’s not unsafe or anything. It may soften up the handling a bit due to a substantial amount more sidewalk flex in turns/curves also.

I see what your saying, just bought a new GT350 and wanting to take the cup 2 off [ I won't be tracking it ] and try to sell them, just trying to figure out what to put back.

I am thinking about the same thing. Cup 2’s are cool looking but overkill for the street for sure.
Are the stock tires on the 18 the way to go ?
Love the look but not the tracking tendency.

I'm sure there's a lot of difference ways to go. I got a lot of info from people on here.

I just wanted something that would drive better, the tracking on the road I don't like.

I'm going with MPSS, 275/35ZR19 and 305/35ZR19, guess I'll see what happens.

I have 325 Michelin 4S on the rear of my 2019 R. They look fine and ride great.

295/35ZR19's, right?

I swapped my SC2's at less than 200 miles and have been running the MPSS ever since.

Got the BMW-spec 104Y up front and the standard 102Y in the back.

9000 miles on them and they look, ride, and handle great!

I would spring for an alignment when you get the new rubber on - lots of these cars show up knocked out of alignment and then you just eat up your tires.

Do they fill out the wells as good as good as the cup 2’s ??

Why do you need an alignment if the tires are the same size, same 32 PSI and same brand?

Hey MAN, when I answered your question above, my answer meant that the tires will work/fit on the car. Will just swapping to 325's in the rear fix tramlining (since this is the topic of this thread)? Probably not.

Doesn't the sidewall on these look different from the stock replacement tire?

Most of the time, cars leave the factory with a perfect wheel alignment, but not every time. For someone who has the misfortune to get a car with bad alignment, the first time they find out that theirs is off is when a $450 tire with 3,000 miles of street driving on it is showing cords.

My original post is about changing tires from Michelin Cup2s to Michelin PSS. There's no sign of uneven wear on the original Cup2s. So, does it needed to perform all wheels alignment when you changing to the same size of tires?

If you're wearing good...no!
