hey guys, I have a stage 2 ProCharger D1sc on e85 and decided to pulley down. I was on 5.00 pulley and went to 4.75” pulley. I was doing a data log for lund, they requested a 3rd gear pull up to 7500 rpm, and I’m pretty sure I saw 17 lbs of boost . Does this sound right? What size pulley are others running with and what is the boost level being soon, interested in stage 2 kits only.

Also.. as a side note my live link crashed while saving the file so I have to do the pull again, so that’s cool.

Ive never even heard of a 5" pulley on a PC. I have a D1X and am running a 4.5" seeing 14ish at 7500. If you are seeing 17lbs something is not right.

So what do I check? I’m pretty sure it was showing 17 lbs. I’m hopping on the dyno in a couple weeks from now so I will know for sure by then, but is there anything I can check in the meantime. I always thought that my boost on the 5.00” pulley was too much about 11.5-12 psi.

Seems to high to be true. I’m on a d1x stg2 with a 4.5” pulley and see 13 psi at 8k

Well here's my thoughts - first I would question the accuracy of the gauge, the only other thing that would cause that if its accurate would be a restriction somewhere.
A DISC - ID1000's, on E85 IF at 17lbs and everything good you would be close to 900-950 wheel and close to lifting heads.
Are you still running cats?

No cats, I made 730 whp on the 5.00” pulley. Where would I look for a restriction? I don’t think my power level is up there that high.

That why I asked about the cats ...if you had them I thought you might have an issue. You made 730 so that tells me no restriction...gotta be your gauge. The Sai Li kit will only support up to around 800 wheel.

I guess I will just finish my datalog and send it to Lund. If the tune looks good I will drive the car more conservatively until I hop on the dyno in like 10 days and have them hook up to the vac tree to see where my boost is really at.

Just did my 3rd gear run up to 7500 rpm for Lund, definitely saw 18 psi on the gauge with the 4.75" pulley. Hopefully it is a mistake.

Had the car on the Dyno with the new 4.75" pulley, confirmed that it is making 17ish psi of boost. so on the 5.00" pulley it made 12 psi and on a 4.75" pulley it makes 17 psi. Seems way too high to me both in terms of change in boost and overall boost.

Car made 814 whp and 651 ft-lb, previously on the 5.00" pulley it made 714 rwhp and 573 ftlb (different dynos though). pretty sure i am running out of fuel on this pulley with the sai li fuel system. Likely I will be going to the 4.88" pulley.

Attached is the log if anyone is interested.
