Yup, me too! Just turn and burn!!Staggered here so no rotating for me.
if you can fit the same size tire front and rear (even tho the wheels are 1/2” different widths), then you can do one mid-life tire dismount and cycle the front tires to the back.Kind of old thread. But didn't provide solution.
So, let me ask this question again.
I had many cars in my life. However, GT350 is my first car with different tire sizes. As far as I know the rear tires are wearing faster than front. Then if you need to change rear tires all tires need to be change due to uneven thread pattern? So, the question is what are you doing to wear tires evenly front and rear? Or you just change them all together when rear worn out?
Yes that's one of the options. But I rather change set of worn rear tires and keep original specifications.if you can fit the same size tire front and rear (even tho the wheels are 1/2” different widths), then you can do one mid-life tire dismount and cycle the front tires to the back.
Those first two are def not how they taught us to rotate tires in my auto mechanics class...How do you go about it on your Mustang  :ford:
Going L-R will call it:
All Vehicles - All Vehicles 2 - Front Wheel Drive Vehicles - Rear & 4 Wheeel Drive Vehicles
I'm going with OEM setup on my GT350 which is 295/35/19 front and 305/35/19 rear. I'm not going to rotate anything, just replacing worn tires. First rear then, when needed front. Those first two are def not how they taught us to rotate tires in my auto mechanics class...
I don't understand the last two. Why would that matter at all for what drivetrain you have? Either way you're rotating tires all around after multiple rotations.
Square set up ftw here; it's why I put 285's in the back as well as the front!
