having owned a KB car in the past, i probably wouldnt go with them again. drivability wasnt all that great even with a stock auto. the blower was meant for a manual car. the big monoblade didnt like light throttle duty. wasnt designed for it.

next car will be a top mount turbo.

having owned a KB car in the past, i probably wouldnt go with them again. drivability wasnt all that great even with a stock auto. the blower was meant for a manual car. the big monoblade didnt like light throttle duty. wasnt designed for it.

next car will be a top mount turbo.
Sounds like tuner issue and driveability issue not the hardware.....

Not he look and layout of this new offering, but KB makes a solid product and we need to give it a chance and see what it does. As far as drivability I agree with Notagain, it's a tuner issue if it's not driving well.

Like others said, that was probably a tuner issue. It's actually worse with a manual car, since there's not torque conveter to absorb the fluctuations in the throttle. Buddy of mine has their kit and it works great. But he had some issues when it was tuned by Lund. PBD has him squared away.

This is my third different KB and the only one that had any even remotely minor drivability issues was the one for my 95 that I had to tune myself. Hardware has always been excellent. I’d say my new one drives better than stock, save for the light whistle you wouldn’t know anything was done to it during normal driving.

Darn. Im close to buying my blower, but i wanted to see what kenne bell was going to pull out. Maybe by black friday sale then.

Still no updates???

They are falling way too far behind.... Now VMP releases Odin but the twin screw fanatics still have only one option. I was really trying to wait for the KB for my GT350R since I already have a Whipple gen 5 on the 2019 GT, just to have both but this is taking too long without any real info.
