Currently looking for a new DD and noticed two new 2018 Ecoboost Premium models opted with the Performance Package sitting at two different dealerships below:

Car #1 - Equipment Group 200A
6 speed manual transmission
Performance Package
Magna Ride Damping System
Pro Shaker Audio
MSRP at $38,575 and was quoted $28,575 (about 25.9% discount)

Car #2 - Equipment Group 201A
12" LCD Digital Cluster
Voice Active/Touch Nav
10 speed Auto
Performance Package
Recaro Leather Seats
MSRP at $39,385 and was quoted $30,963 (about 21.3% discount)

Note, this was an e-quote and can probably shave off a little more if I stepped into the dealership. Any advice or tips on the two cars? (No preference on transmission)

I would choose car #2
Because of: 12" LCD Digital Cluster, Recaro Leather Seats

Think about it this way.
Mustangs depreciate 20% in the 1st year and average 9% each consecutive year.
For the BEST possible deal you should be looking for a -29% discount.
You could probably manage that at the dealer. Of course watch out for dealer fees.
I think you would enjoy the car with the 8” touch screen entertainment/climate system which both may have. Test drive both and you will likely favor one over the other.
Good luck!

agree prices still a little too high, but I would not buy a pp car for a DD without Magnaride

Thanks for the advise everyone, however I passed on both ecoboosts and am currently eyeing a 2020 MX-5 Club RF with the Brembo/Recaro/BBS Package.
