Does anyone know how many 350R HE cars are going to be produced?

Initially it was suggested that 350 R models would be produced along with 350 Base GT350's would be produced but that did not pass with the senior management of Ford for various reasons.

With the above being the case it is anyone's guess as to how many cars will be produced for both models.

Nothing else on YouTube for these cars, but this fella seems to have some history with 350’s. Aaaaand it provides us with some more photos while we wait...

Enjoyed the video but not sure where he got his information that Ford was going to build 1965 of these HEP optioned cars as that is just not going to happen.

Also, the car in the video is a prototype and still had the Red seat inserts whereas the R models will have just all Black seats.

Not sure how old the video is but trying to find an R model with the HEP at this time will not be easy especially at a very low or no ADM price.

I wonder what the seats will look like...Pre-2019 R seats were black with Red stitching, makes me wonder if the new seats will differentiate themselves due to also being black with red stitching.

Don't know for sure but suggest that the Recaro seats in the 2020 R model equipped with the HEP option will have either the very same or similar Black only seats with Red stitching as was the case with the pre 2019 models.

Auto Fanatic is very persistent and will probably find one somewhere. He had a GT350 and now has a GT350R. He has an informative channel re 350 mods and maintenance tips, and also has other vehicles on his channel I subscribe.

Interesting that an early prototype has the shark fin antenna. Also, may be the angle, but interesting bumper gap as well...hopefully, it's the angle.

If anybody is currently looking, below are two dealer ordered Heritage Edition R's in Socal/Los Angeles. I literally just found them while doing a search now so I don't have any more info. My guess is both dealers probably have a markup if the cars are not spoken for. When I was searching for my non H.E. R, LA dealers were initially asking 5K over MSRP.

I’d be amazed if they are going to let them go for 5k over. Sunrise is where I bought my PP2 and they had two base GT350s going for 80k back in 2018. The dealership by my house has an R at 98k. Citrus Ford had a 2017 GT350R back in 2018 and they wanted 89k—I was going to but in an offer, but back then they wanted more for a 2017 than I could buy a 2018 brand new from another dealer. If these dealers actually let an R go for 5k, I would be not amazed, but FLOORED!

20k of ADM is standard in CA, and why many of us went out of state when buying our cars.
