A base 300A car is lighter and might make up a bit for not having drag mode. Also on street tires, drag mode can be a disadvantage unless the track is VERY sticky. I have never seen a 300A car run 11s at my track unless they were tuned. Not saying that they haven't done it elsewhere. I have run back to back using normal mode vs drag mode on my heavy 401A car and the difference is a little more than 2 tenths with DRs However, to use drag mode, you better have drag radials or the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts will put you in wheelspin and or wheel hop city. The shifts are that brutal.

Tuned 300a cars in which sport mode is the drag mode are probably the quickest of all.
My 19 PP1 300a(no drag mode) has been running 11.9's all winter. Stock other than Roush catback & MT dr's on cheap AM 17's so not completely stock but almost. The dr's are more for "insurance" than an advantage being on the stock tune, well on mine atleast being a PP1 the Michelin PS4S do pretty well at the track. Da in the winter here in south LOWSYana is normally 0 or below on track nights though so that helps quite a bit. The car runs 12.2's in the summer at 2000 da. A base car can run 11.9's in good air.

No argument from me. We just rarely have good air at my tracks. That is why I said I had never seen a base car run 11s. Didn't say it couldn't happen. Mid 12s is not unusual at my tracks in summer heat and humidity with 3000 DA. I did run 11.89 stock but with DRs on a good air day in October a couple of years ago. I wish we had more days like that.

Do you run your car in phoenix? When you do, let me know and we can race same day same time... Otherwise, have a nice day.
No thanks, not only is it obvious you don't know how to race, but you also make bad decisions. Roush super charger on an 18...in phoenix haha. What do you run low 11's

I don't run my mouth. You do. My car on the other hand runs 12.7, cuts a 1.7 sixty, and traps 150 mph is that good?

It traps like your mouth does... Loose... Good job running a 12.7.. :) Whoops.

I think you are missing the point.. Same day passes, same strip, same air... Or it doesn't matter... Keep going though.. Tell me more about my driving and my car...

Not to be mean but, 12.7 at 150 mph there is something not right over here
Before spending on a whipple might have gotten yourself a set of drag wheel instead

What i understand here, your car has unuseable power without slicks, and you din't cut 12.7 on a set of drag wheel so your on stockers ? Make no sense

Your not investing your money at the right place, your not in a position to give the other guy advice about his roush blower.

Yeah a stock car runs faster 400m than his whippled stang, shame for real. Even if you pin 150 mph your still second finishing the line
