Today while driving home, I passed a car (2k-5500 rpm) once I got on my lane I noticed this loud ticking noise. It’s very similar to the sound of the lifters but much much louder. It increases in fastness as rpm goes up.
I’ve checked the sparkplugs (none were loose) pulleys (everything was right) and also disconnected each coilpacks one at a time and started the car up to see if I couldn’t verify if it was rod knock. (Suggested by a family friend mechanic) but have no clue what the noise is.

The high pressure fuel pump has NOT been replaced. I have seen some stuff in that claiming it can be a problem.

the car was not overheating nor did I notice any smoke from the exhaust.

MODS:
Turbosmart WG75 waste gate (10lbs spring)
Turbosmart recirculating blownoff valve
Mishimoto stock location intercooler
SR Performance intercooler piping (hot and cold side)
C&L intake spacer (taking off ince I find the stock bolts)
Rev9 3” catless downpipe
MBPR 3” catback exhaust
Roush CAI
unleashed tune
BC Racing coilovers
SR Performance strut tower brace
Wheels/tires

Check for exhaust leaks.
