My GT350 was build 2/19. The engine dated 1/22/19. I think they start releasing MY19 in around November 2018.

I don't think so, it was a short production year. I think they waited till feb '19 to start building because of the changes to be in sync w/ gt500 production for shared parts.

I also remember Ford saying Cup 2 tires were either brittle or something similar during the winter so they couldn't start production earlier.

I believe the 1st reported '19 GT350 delivered on the forum was @RugbyRef on 4/19, then @FAST FRED on 4/29 and mine on 4/30. I believe we all had assembly from the end of Feb into mid March.

I had my engine replaced in mid January 2019 in my 2018 350. It got the 19 motor.

I took delivery 4/8/19.... k0899

I think I got lucky and the timing of my build didn't put it in the lot waiting on steering wheels or whatever...

K0587 Build 3/19. I too think mine slipped passed the steering wheel hold. Perhaps it was on the assembly line while they still had steering wheel inventory, or just as a batch arrived and probably before they determined the reverse lockout issue with the shifter. When I was tracking the VIN it was delayed only a week for delivery at the dealer. In my car's case it seems it went from assembly to delivery in about 6-7 weeks.

And as discussed elsewhere in the forum, the chassis # does not dictate sequence order for assembly.

Mine (KR060) missed the steering wheel hold but got caught up in the first shifter replacement. Now, I have parts for number 2

Do these forum members have any pictures of engine blocks that show they are actually 52B and NOT 52A blocks?
I have heard conflicting information that just makes figuring this all out even more difficult. ughh.
Thanks everyone for input on this.

Should I start a separate thread on this as we will likely need some cleanup eventually?

52B: GT350 "52B" blocks started ~Feb 2019 vehicle build date? or Engine build date?
Any sources that say "52B" and NOT "52A"?

52A: GT350 "52A" blocks started ? and end?
Any sources on specific "52A" block info?

Visual identification:
Any links or examples on identifying assembled blocks?

Easiest was to tell assembled 52A /B from the 52 is the number of Knock sensor bosses .

The intake surface of the 52A and B will be identical .

Now there is some confusion about the OEM block equivalent .
I still think the GR3Z -6010-F = 52A and the KR3Z-6010-A = 52 B

My engine builder says other wise and thinks they are both 52B (Gen 3) but different final machining since the GR3Z-6010-F still has the squirters in the mains .
If so then it looks like the GR3Z-6010-F is what goes in the latest voodoo and the KR3Z-6010- the predator .
