I noticed the valve stem location is not the same front vs. rear.
In the fronts, the valve stems are between the spokes, in the rear they are not.
Does anybody know the reason for the differentiation between front and rear?
I'm curious as to how many people are right now going into their garage to check this out thinking "What the hell is he talking about?"

This is what happens when you buy such an ADDICTIVE car and you can't drive it every minute of the day, so you spend time STARING at it while it sits in your garage waiting to go for a drive.......... like a young puppy who really just wants to go outside for a walk and gives you those sad puppy eyes saying "lets go buddy".

On the PP1 GT it’s between different spokes on the front and rear wheel. You can see in this photo when I first got the car and had the green nitrogen caps

I'm guessing there are just 2 different drilling rigs for front and rear. The location of the valve stem really doesn't matter. Likely even the factory guys didn't notice.

And I thought only the performance pack 1 rims were drilled different. ..must be a quick way to identify widths on the production line.

They do this to visually differentiate bewteen the front and the rear wheels since the wheels are different widths. Of course, the stock tires on a GT350 are different front and rear so a quick look on the tire makes is easy.

The PP2 Mustangs, however, use different wheel widths but the same tire width front and rear. The placement of the valve stem tells you which front wheel and rear wheel without actually measuring.

It's detailed on page 12 of the PP2 Supplement

Can you post pics of them?

They all appear between the spokes... but I see what you mean! Definitely not the same location, and very interesting...
