Gaudin Ford I assume. If so I saw that car in person when I was looking. I was all about the performance blue. If I wouldn’t have found an allocation to order a Heritage Edition I was definitely going to go with the Performance Blue. It’s beautiful.

Beautiful car.
Appreciate that. I have been a Carroll Shelby fan and Stang fan since the 1980’s. It was 1985 when I was 20 and was wanting to get a 1985 GT with a down payment from my summer earnings over the previous 2 years while I was in college. However my father who also was a car enthusiast said that was too much power and not willing to co-sign for the car loan. He just did not want to find me being “carried by 6”. He suggested that I look at Iacocca and Shelby teaming up with Dodge. I test drove a 1985 Shelby Charger and was pleased with the ride. My father co-signed the loan and my first Shelby experience came to fruition. I have enjoyed these GT350’s and prefer to “row as I go” with a stick shift. I am concerned that 2020 may be the last year for the GT350 and the R was available. So it is now my 35th anniversary of experiencing a Shelby that may be the last in a manual transmission option. I enjoy every moment of this and the nostalgia that goes with this. Anyway this is just my 2 cents down memory lane.

Yep... Gaudin. Looked at it for three weeks before I pulled the trigger - also after a bit of "negotiating" on the price.

Love the Performance Blue, and yes... am also looking for a base GT350 Heritage Edition... as that white with blue looks stunning.
