Hey guys..

so I have a manual 2015 premium GT, a while back when the RPM is higher than 4500 and I press down the clutch and come to complete stop or I want to make a U-turn the car shut off and dies!! This issue often happens and I can’t figure out why,
Other than that the car runs perfectly.

I changed the throttle body and checked for vacum leaks and everything is perfect
The car is FBO beast

Does it do this with a full tank of gas? I'm thinking fuel pump. Just a guess.

It doesn’t matter whether the tank is full or empty, it still shuts down.
and I checked the fuel pump, it works fine
This problem will drive me crazy lol

Had a similar issue on my 15 dealer blamed the air filter being damp(a new one did nothing
) , I put in a new maf sensor myself and it went from happening weekly to once in 2 months. Never fully got to the bottom of it before trading for an 18.

You might have a sticking vapor management valve. It can pull vapor from the fuel tank while slowing and then not seal off causing a long decel stall. Disconnect and plug the vacuum hose leading to it to see if the issue goes away.
Good luck...

My 17 GT PP MT82 did this a couple times, ended up being that I didn’t apply the clutch fast enough when coming to a stop.....no jerking or anything just shut off. Hasn’t happened since.
