They wouldn’t budge off the 20k ADM on a base when I talked to them last year. General consensus I’ve seen for Koons is they are great to buy from for a typical car but terrible for limited production models.

lol at advertising that as a “double golden ticket” though.

I buy most of my Fords from them and I know the story of this car. The GM orders this car for a personal friend and when the car came in he didn’t want them to title it so he could flip it. They called me when the deal didn’t go down and offered her to me. The car is too loaded up for me personally and if she had a MSRP around 81-82k then I’d pick her up but not at that stupid ADM.

Yea, I bought my car from the Falls Church location but I can believe them being firm on price....some buyer will be willing.

Just curious, even if he titled the vehicle, couldnt he still flip it?

Yes but the GM now knows his so called friend is buying it with probably NO ADM to take advantage of the deal. And I was told the guy would only buy it if they didn't title it.

Just spoke with them. They have convinced themselves it is worth all of $50K over sticker.
The only thing changing their mind will be time ( and taxes they will have to pay on inventory stuck with them ).
I get a kick, his comment is that "this car is only 1 of 2 they will ever produce with double gold ticket". Wow, I'm excited!

Cars are cars, I'll burn all of mine up racing them long before they are really worth anything. Life is too short do with what these are meant to do. Race them!

Yep I know all too well the dealers position and some one will end up paying the ADM and maybe not 50K but 30-40K probably. I know of another dealer I have spoken to and have a relationship as well and they have sold 3 GT's 40k ADM so far. Its a very rich DC area and I witnessed this back in 2004 on the new C6 Z06 Corvettes and even back then 25k-35K over. I saw people fly in from California and the West coast are to get their so called rare Corvette. And then back in fall of 2014 and early 2015 thru 2015 the Dodge Hellcat dealers were getting 50k plus ADM as well. And now today your so called rare Hellcat 2015 models will be lucky to bring you high 40's and people paid 100K for them. And the GT500 Mustang wont be the same as the Corvettes and Hellcats since they just build as many as they can. But anyone who pay more than 10K ADM wont get that back anytime soon. My assumption will be the GT500 holds it resale really well. I would feel the 80k base will be a 65-70K resale for a year to 2 years. And just depends on how many buy them and then trade them back in and can't see that happening in any great quantity. The 150k purchase is crazy since truly you could do a hell of a lot to a GT350 mods to beat a GT500 IMO.

I am waiting for another year or two to add one of these to sit next to the GT350 and the Focus RS. I saw a Hellcat wide body today for 80K and I am about to drop the dime on a Camaro ZL1 (not the 1LE package). Let the folks who have paid $50k over work the kinks out.

Even with a GM's signature, the car got away from me. The dealer called me that I was going to be here in March, "but due to demand" they want 25k instead of the agreed and signed 7500$ over asking... I emailed Ford for help, and a lawyer, but c'mon.. this is just a "thing".. but what a bummer.

GL out there, I'm on the hunt also. Im willing to go 10k over, but not 25k. Ridic.
