Silver Scotchlite it really isn't grainy like the photo just how the reflective stuff looks when photographed. Retroreflectivity helps the eye perceive objects in low-light conditions when illuminated by a light source. In more scientific terms, retroreflection occurs when light rays are returned in the direction from which they came. Retroreflective materials appear brightest to an observer located near the original light source.

OK, now I am confused. I took rubbings and measurements directly from my car for Zimcraft. He contacted me via IG, as I was one of the first to take delivery of the car, and I helped him create the S H E L B Y and GT500 letters. Are you saying he sent you my measurements, and you created the file, that he uses to cut them?

Scotchlite is just orange, not Twister Orange. Vvivid has the closest match to Twister Orange posted above has some metallics in it.

3m Scotchlite 680 vinyl is 7mil thick about twice as thick as normal vinyl

All Scotchlite colors are just straight red, blue, green, yellow, white, black, etc... if you want to match rapid red oracle makes 028 cardinal red and 3m and Avery have a match. Standard vinyl 3.5mil thick.

OK, sounds like it's rigid enough for the job. Next question...

How well does it stick? I've tried pieces of Oracal 751 on my splitter and they don't stick AT all.

Finally, I have a cutter, can I just get sheets of Scotchlite and cut my own? (no disrespect intended) But if that's possible, I'll happily buy you a hamburger on Tuesday for the .AI, EPS, .CDR version of the characters. <grin> (Popeye throwback so you gotz to be really old to get that one.) <smile>

AND, I have zero interest in competing so have no worries there.
