This is something I've worried about due to the extremely large exposed area up front, even if there is a mesh for protection. Wonder if you could work in a finer mesh for non track use?

Did you ask the dealer what the part # and retail price is? Most likely what you find online will be similar to their prices.

This sounds like an insurance claim not warranty.

Hit up Levittown Ford on here in the vendor section - he’s helped a lot of M6G members with parts AND great pricing.

# FR308005G

Could not be looked up by VIN, went by 5.2 engine

Trying to confirm if its 500 specific, or gt350 part

That is not going to be correct. Parts on these are not fully cataloged yet. Best bet is to try to find the engineering number off of the radiator you need so it can be crossed to a service part number.

you are looking for either KR3V 8005 AD, KR3V 8D048 AA or KR3V 8D048 BB for engineering numbers

100% correct - and that # may be on a 2D QR label on the actual radiator itself. If you have not done so already, you may need to remove parts around the rad or pull the entire rad itself to find the # (OR label if affixed).

How did the rad get punctured, did I miss a thread about it?

I dont have access to the car, i doubt the dealer is going to do this properly, or in a timely manner.

Maybe a helpful forum member can assist in finding that?

Unclear of true cause, ruptured fin or rock hit.. either way, its immobilized

So I called FP Tech line, Tom I think his name was, was helpful.. He is also unsure of the part # as it says for 2016+ Mustang, but when box is checked for 5.2, this is the number FR3Z8005G

and he said this is the engineering #
fr33-8005-cg

I guess ill just have to order it and find out. I hate being the 1st on these types of things lol

Good luck.

So who is going to be the first vendor to supply a fine mesh protector. I can see this being a problem with that giant front open area.

Actually thank you for this. I'm an idiot and I was moving some stuff around in my car the other day and I BANGED UP the rear quarter interior panel so badly I might want to replace it. Price was better than I thought it would be. I was expecting like a hundred thousand bazouthand. $200 isn't the end of the world.

I order all my OEM parts from them.

When replacing brake pads, they have always had the best pricing.
