If you have the memory seats you can program one of the settings to point your mirrors down so that you can see the curb when parking. Works best with manual since you can choose a different memory setting while the clutch is depressed or if you are in neutral. With an automatic you have to be in park (or possibly neutral).

Get some sand paper and work it out. That’s a nice benefit of a polished lip wheel. That’s a pretty minor rub.

I tried that a bit. Seemed to scratch the area around the ding so I stopped.

I’m an old body shop guy so for me its second nature. Here’s a good video off youtube. As long as you protect your wheel and tire it’s difficult to mess up. He used air tools, your scratch can easily be done by hand. Buy a can of never-dull to, its amazing for polishing.
