Let’s see what you guys have done with the g2 kits

Is one kit enough to do all 4 calipers ?

one kit will do 2 calipers. I did a set to sell them (since regular calipers were more plentiful in the classifieds). While it self-levels, getting a truly smooth surface is very difficult. Though under a wheel at normal viewing difference, it would be hard to differentiate them from the oem R caliper ( I bought a set of those, they're not perfect either)

Did you paint over the existing Brembo logo and just apply a sticker afterwards?

yes, I sanded the calipers first to ensure there wouldn't be a "imprint" of the old brembo logos

Custom color matched to my paint code since it wasn't one of their standard offerings. I think it's $110 vs $60 to have that done. Brushed base coats, then sprayed the last coats via Preval sprayer. Logos are vinyl graphics. Only painted the visible portion of the calipers so was able to do it with 1 kit.

You painted it without even removing the caliper? Was it hard to do it that way?

Those look great love orange fury.
I’m looking to match my car lead foot grey.
Definitely gonna do vinyl for the logo so I can change it up when I want to

I removed the front caliper enough to remove the pads and rotors. I should have done the same in the rear.

It was easy since I was only painting the front face and the top half of the caliper. With the 19" wheels I run you can't see past the painted section of the calipers.

I’m not sure it was necessary to remove the front bumper cover to paint the calipers. JK lol
Im torn between ordering there custom color, rapid red, or use the red kits I already have. The orange looks really nice.

A bunch
A word of warning, I personally wouldn’t do this if you plan to track your car ever. I’ve used the kit on my Mini Cooper that I track, and on the explorer sport that I don’t track. The explorer looks great at over a year, but the brake heat from tracking the mini has severely discolored the calipers after only two track days, and they’ve discolored very unevenly. The calipers were completely red, and still are on 50% of the outward face, but the closer you get towards the rotor, the more black/chararcoal color they’ve become. The car is in storage for the winter or I’d post a picture.... but it doesn’t look great. If I could do it over again I would remove the caliper, have it powder coated, and then never have to think about it again.

I got some local quotes for powder coating the gt350 calipers and it was fairly reasonable.

It’s a lil job but was worth it. Very happy with the way they turned out. And ya ya, I know. The rears aren’t Brembo but stickers came as a set. So whatever. I did grind down the casting lines on the rears.
