Did you find out if the updated puddle lamps will go into the 15-17 cars? Also, has the part number updated on the 18 vs the 15-17??
Sorry I have no idea on that one perhaps someone here might chime in.

So how can someone determine if this part number "13B374/5" is the newly improved lamps, that are no longer paper projection? I don't want to drop $100 every year because I can't find the newly fixed models

I have a '17, and mine started to fail (pony looked fatter than the Mach E) just before my 2year warranty expired, so Ford replaced them free of charge. But if there's a new and improved model, thats what goes in next time they fail.

Any clue what the new part number is, or the part number of what you have currently?

My 15 is doing this bad also. From the information I collected on Facebook which, I know, isn't the best source of information, the -c part number is the updated part for the 15's. They shipped with -B. For some reason the updated projection lamps in 2018-2020 models fits all models (2016-2020) except the 2015, which is odd. I'm going by my dealer today and will update what they tell me.

So I saw this video too. This is for the European Mustangs. The GR part number denotes that its for power fold mirrors. Only the Euro models got that feature. From what my dealer told me is to order the part and it should be the updated part number. Guess I'll find out in a few months if they start to deteriorate. I come bearing good news! Hopefully.

So I ordered:
FR3Z-13B374-B
FR3Z-13B375-C

I have no blind spot monitoring and a 2015 car.
Installing them was easy and I first noticed how sharp and detailed these are. I think I can confirm that these parts are the updated part numbers. The first picture attached is my cars puddle lamps 2 years ago. You can see the horse has no details such as body lines and an eye. The new one has these features. This leads me to believe that the part numbers above are indeed updated.

Edit: Doing some google searching it looks like I can confirm that the original puddle lights from 2015 have no details in the horse. it was simply an outline. The parts above, have body contour lines and an eye. Hopefully this means they are updated parts.
