2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Congrats! Hoping with a few weeks I’ll be getting same! If build week is first week of March, with Penske Painted stripes and Dealership within 400 miles of facility, any guesses when I might expect it to show up at dealership?

Seems like the factory must be getting their act together. Just got off the phone with FP, my build week got moved from week of April 13 to week of March 30. Awesome news!

I think produced on the first page for 894 was suppose to go on 890 but could be wrong

Customer order cars can be placed 10-19.
Stock order is 20-80. Any dealer can do it.


What you overpaid on the car doesn’t matter to Ford either. The regional reps and Ford determine when an allocation is pulled. I’m sure they favor dealers based on sales volume and some other behind the scenes stuff. Which makes a limited run car like this frustrating to deal with since some dealers can get multiple cars within the first run while smaller dealers can’t even get in on the second run.

I just went from a scheduled build week of March 16th to a scheduled build day of March 16th! I will be glad to see the baby's dance for me soon! How long is it taking for CFTP cars with POTTS to go from build day to delivery on average? I have to go to Japan at the end of May.....

There haven't been any CFTP cars produced this year so I won't be able to tell until a few have been delivered. Last year is not something I would like to use as an example. Unless I was looking for a very bad example.

I went back and looked at the list. It looks like my car and one other built the same week will be the first CFTP cars built this year. Production of cars seems to be moving quicker and Penske shouldn't be backed up with lots of GT 500s to paint stripes on.

Called Noah yesterday, still holding for March 16th build week. He told me ford is staying on schedule and does not predict any changes.
