Thanks, the hood is composite the fenders are aluminum and the cost of buying 500 fenders is outrageous(over 1800) a side. I'm in process of tiging up the gap now. I have done this process on a few old aluminum bodied Jaguars in the past. It's just time consuming but I'm getting there

any update on this?

Thanks
Jack

So how'd you close the gap? Did you add material to the hood or the fender?

Added to fender, also rework the fenders because the arch of fender to hood was different. Had to shorten front of hood above headlights. Also had to do a bunch other things. Was much more of a project than I originally thought

When you say you had to rework your fenders what do you mean with that and how did you extend your fenders back in the corners with aluminum stock or did you TIG in some metal and shape it?

I found it easier to add the material to the hood since I had to add to the sides anyway. Ended up having to cut fenders to get arch right anyway! Lol was trying to minimize the work so I thought!

The only thing I havent found is how they secure the ball end to radiator support (inside round pockets)

I'm fortunate enough to buy at bodyshop prices and have to get Bill's out to be 100% accurate
475ea. ball end 80ea nuts and have to buy 4 when you only need 2 675ea for hood locks themselves 1700 hood 875 rain tray 300 in gaskets
I believe fathouse performance sells the radiator support portion of the quick latch then you can get the matching quick latch and it’ll work.
