This is the way it is right now with some of the GT500 hardware - it trickles in at its own pace. I have a superb parts guy that has caught errors in Livonia (where this stuff is shipping from) that would have left me with some of the wrong parts. You have to pay very close attention to anything you order at this point.
When are you installing? Very curious to see/know before/after height measurements

Unusual spring design, looks like three different wire diameters. But that could just be the camera angle.

Won't be until I have the factory camber plates, which I'm waiting for from my dealer. I'll measure wire diameters, the free height of the springs, etc, and compare ride heights at that time too.

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying we appreciate the enormous effort, Tob. I'm personally interested in the difference in ride height. Then again, I guess I could measure and ask for comparisons...duh. Hang on a sec...

OK, on mine:

- From the bottom of the side splitter at the center of the driver's door to the ground is 6.75"

- From the bottom of the front splitter to the ground is 5.125"

My car is base with handling package. Where did you measure the front splitter?

My car is on the lift now so I measured the side of the front splitter 5 5/16” and along the side at the middle of the door is 7 3/16”.

I usually measure from the ground to the center of the arch radius on the fender/quarter.

More than one way to skin a cat, but I believe the best way to get the least margin of error is to measure form the center of the hub, to the wheel well lip. Things like tire pressure, dips in driveways, and such are eliminated this way.

I will either get the CFTP springs, or a set of Ford Racing springs when they come out. They may be the same as CFTP, but I like this option. Third possibility is getting Steeda springs, but I like this car being all Ford.

That's my general approach with this one as well. For example, I could add aftermarket caster/camber plates like I always have but figured I'd try the factory plates this time around. These cars don't need additional caster and I like the idea of the factory style bushing up top.

If the suspension programing for the CFTP car is different from the base car, could it be because of the CF wheels?

More than likely it's due to the different spring rates, but I suppose the unsprung weight, and the actual weight of the CF wheel may be figured in some....

The base is LOWER?
I wouldn’t expect that but I would say that both cars (actually does seem a touch more noticeable on CFTP cars) look like they could be lowered 1/2” in front. Rear is perfect to me.
I’d hope they’re setup for max handling, but decades of Ford 4x4 stance makes me wonder if the slightly higher front wheel gap is for Ford clearance requirements.
Looking forward to someone lowering a new 500 in the front.

That’s exactly what I said and the reason I started this thread. The front of the base car needs to be a bit lower, 1/2” would be perfect. That’s why I purchased the CFTP springs and supplied the part number in case anyone else wanted to do the same, which several have. My car will be here most likely around the beginning of April and will take before and after photos but I bet those who already have their cars that install the springs will post photos before me.
