You may be onto something![/QUOTE
Sleeved , it’s probably the strongest block option out there .... sans the “werewolf” or Baer block

There seems to be a bit of confusion over what head studs will fit the Predator block. Example, ARP lists different part numbers for 18up coyote and 16-20 5.2l.
Its a good questoin. I have a box of ARP head studs sitting on my shelf now that read 256-4702. Run that part number and they are listed as 11-12 Coyote 5.0 studs on the ARP site, yet on the Beefcake and other Mustang performance sites it also says 18+. https://arp-bolts.com/kits/arpkit-detail.php?RecordID=3946. Since Ford went back to the 12mm stud in 2018, apparently these are correct for 18+ also.

Who knows at this point! Guess ill find out when i assemble my motor.

PD blowers generate a lot more heat and I'd be afraid 5/30 would break down
You’re already upping the operating viscosity by 10 over the suggested 5W-20. Any type of compressor will mostly just raise IAT’s, but oil temperatures generally only end up a few degrees warmer.

I don't pretend to be an expert, but in addition to IATs I'm pretty sure PD blowers also raise engine temps. We have a hot rock sitting right on top of the engine. That's why I have a 170 thermostat. Also is 5w-20 still the recommended oil? I thought dealers upped it to 5-30 when the tick craze came out.

The compressor sits high above the heads. 75% of the oil is below the cylinder heads to the bottom of the oil pain. Oil/ECT temperatures do not gain more than 8-10°F with a any forced induction in general. Warmer oil makes more power as well. 5W-20, or 5W-30 is what I use depending on what’s on sale at the time.

How long have you been doing that? How often are you changing? and I assume your oil looks good? I have been thinking of going to 5-40 since its half the price

I am running ARP 11-12 head studs on my 2018. Direct fit.

Been running 5W-30 on every blown car I’ve had since 1998. Personally, 40WT is too thick for these Coyotes, unless your road racing in Arizona in August.
