I think the point they are trying to make here is the guy is a bum.
That's a well know fact. At least his mommy and daddy aren't buying him all his cars.

No just the idiots that support his YouTube channel.
I don't think YouTube revenue pays enough for that.

If you think that carmax video was bad... check this one out... $1175.00 a month car payment for a GT500. More than his mortgage. That is totally screwed up...

The price of interwebs fame.:giggle:

Iā€™m not a big fan of his channel, but some people donā€™t like big mortgages so they can do other things with their money. $1175 a month is insane, but again, we donā€™t know the terms. 2 year or 3 year loan and $1175 a month is more understandable. If itā€™s 60-80+ months then, weā€™ll, itā€™s his money but I canā€™t imagine paying that much for one car. I canā€™t imagine paying that much for two new cars. Unless my loan is 0-2% I try to put 30-40% down and have a manageable loan. Having a car loan longer than your warranty is probably not the best idea. If your motor goes after 5 years you have a $1175 car payment and looking at a $15K+ repair bill on something like a GT500.

One of the better reviewers I've seen for the GT350R and ZL1 1LE was savagegeese on Youtube. I tend to like when they focus on the technical stuff more than just their impression of the car.

The CarMax video is rather innoccous compared to this:

Also, reminder Jay Leno is also a "YouTuber", it's amazing the lumping going on as if every video on YT is like this dude...

When he had just north of 40k subscribers he actually made like $35k from youtube. You guys arre acting like he is some big magazine that is making the content or if he was a mechanic that was making the content. Believe it or not there can be people who don't work on their own cars that still like cars. If you guys don't like it why watch?

We donā€™t but some are so caught up in that dude they keep linking that garbage on the forums trying to get the kid more views so we gotta say it here instead of his channel.

just like that fake GT500 giveaway.

I think they can also write off things like their cars as a business expense if they produce enough content on their car. If he lives in a high tax state that can add up fast.

My take away from the Stangmode's youtube is that if you get a 500, just drive it and enjoy it. It isn't one of a kind. It isn't a gold freakin nugget. 5000 units...per year...isn't rare. It isn't gonna appreciate unless you get a CFTP and lock it away for 20 years. $65k is about what I'd expect a place like carmax to be at for a used base GT500. They'd turn it around for $70-75K used. And every day they sit on their lot is another day it depreciates. If anybody wants to argue the validity of what I'm putting down for a base GT500 just take a look at the 12-13 Boss and the more rare LS Boss's in the used market today. The 13-14 GT500's with the 662HP Trinity. Dealers got ADM's out of those and now look at the used market for them. The only gold nugget 350 would be a 15 R or maybe an HE 350. The only gold nugget GT500 is Craig Jackson's and a CFTP that some collector put away in storage.
