Took full advantage of teacher training day today as I’m off with the kids. Plonked the kids in front of the PlayStation with lots of drinks and snacks, then I was to the garage for some more tinkering with the Mustang !

Few minor mods done today.

First up was the Vland smoked sequential rear lights. I got these as part of the SMUK group but offer. Quality really good and look OEM.
If I was critical the brake lights are not as bright as the standard lights and hence the difference between side lights and brake lights is not huge. I’ll try to upload a video so you can see.

Next up was the Roush bonnet vents which I’ve had flatted and painted gloss black to match stripe and grill.

Nearly getting there now just waiting on some replacement decals to arrive and I’m done I think !

I treated myself to one of the 5 Spurs centre armrest covers which arrived today.

Build quality is really good which you expect for £125, not sure it’s worth that money but pleased with the look and comfort it provides.

Please do excuse the filthy car with storm Ciara and Dennis I’ve given up cleaning the car in recent weeks.

Ooh yeah I like that, but I’m way too tight to pay £125 for it

The back of the arm rest....
Makes sense now i’ve looked at it more lol

seemed an odd shape and looked completely flat, whereas the top looks like it’s fairly raised/padded

Finally some sun today ! So I was able to do my next minor tweak !

GT side graphics for the car ! Relatively easy to install just hope they will stick to the ceramic coating

Looking great :sunglasses:

I notice the small front plate has gone - did you get pulled for it ? :frown:

If so, was it for the size or for the tint ?

No didn’t get pulled in fact when was the last time you saw a traffic cop ?

I changed it as I didn’t like the look as it was too small, and too dark !

ideally I’d be able to source a plate between standard size and 3/4 size. Ie small enough to fit on the flat section without overhanging but not to small to obviously look non-standard !

Looks great now. I really like that Roush front splitter I have to say.

Looks wise my suggestion would be to finish off the build with a set of gloss black Velgen VF5 wheels. Then it will be a killer.

Looks killer. Gave up on the roush hockey sticks or just preferred this GT stripe? I’m liking the GT stripe a lot. Where did you get it?

Thanks but don’t tempt me re the wheels. I’m not overly keen on the standard GT wheels. Much preferred the shadow edition wheels on the last mustang.
I do like the VF5’s too !
