2018+ hood vents

Honestly they will both look nice..gloss black or paint matched.. but I'm thinking with the gloss black grill, gloss wheels and the black spoiler it would have been a better contrast .

Here is a mock up I did earlier of the gloss black. Don't mind the filth, Canadian winter.

Finally got around to installing. Decided to try black. I think I like it but I’ll give it some time to settle with me. Thoughts from anyone else?

Thank you. I’m happy with it. Might go body coloured eventually but for the time being I’m happy. They are oddly high and very noticeable while driving. Did you have that same experience Elvis?

Yes ..they definitely stand out..also I recommend taking off every few months to clean underneath them

Might be tough with the 3m tape but good idea. They almost look to high at the top end of the hood when I was driving but I confirmed they were all the way down.

Side question for you, how did you like the air designs item for below the turn signals? I am considering them as well.

When I got them..it was from air designs..I'm not sure about the Ford part number..but they do pop up on eBay as well now

Between finding a design I liked, fit and finish concerns, water (and snow) management questions, and cost I could not find a hood that I liked. These vents are the next best thing. I went to the local Ford dealer to order them so they would be easy to return if there was something I didn't like about them. Unfortunately, they have no returns on special order parts. With that info, I just went home and ordered them off a vendor on Ebay with a 30 day return policy. I ordered gloss black to go on my gloss black '18. Thanks to everyone for all the reviews in this thread that make me confident about ordering. I'll be selling my stock gloss black vents.
