My car came with remote start.
Don't understand how it is listing 3 keys now but not programming it
On that site there are only 2 5 keyfob for the mustang and they both have the same number.

Did you ever get this sorted? Mine just came yesterday and following the instructions of the attached quote it only worked when I pressed down firmly. Also when you hot the start button and the car chimes, from the first chime yo the last chime Is 5 seconds

1) Remove any key rings from the fobs
2) For the existing old style 2017 keys, they were inserted with the key hook facing down and buttons facing the back of the car
3) For the new 2018 key to be programmed, it was inserted key hook facing up and buttons facing the back of the car
4) When programming the 2018 key, I pressed it down very firm in the slot (not sure if that made a difference)

Hi
Not tried it since. I ran my battery down trying to get it to work and had to jump it with my other car. I'll give it another shot later this week and do a few starts in between
Thanks

I'll give it a try as when I press any buttons the little led does not light. I'll replace the battery and if that does not work I will have to send it back I guess

I'm no pro, but how are you doing it. It has to be a missed step. But with you saying the car registers 3 keys. Maybe not.
it says 3 keys now but doesn't work. I changed the battery and still no dice. I have not gotten the the programming successful either. I followed the steps listed earlier and did the same as in the video posted. I will probably have to return the keyfob and purchase another. i believe once the led on the fob came on for a few seconds then nothing
Thanks

I have a 2015 Mustang GT with the 5 button remote start. Dropped it the other day leaving work put it all back together and now it won't start my car unless I have the key fob in the cup holder. It will unlock the doors, open the trunk, remote start but when in the vehicle it says "no key detected". Bought a new key fob went to ford to have them program it and they said they couldn't program it due to a tune in my car. Also the original key fob is now saying its a MyKey when I start my car.

I am down to one key fob. Can a locksmith program another key fob without messing up my Whipple tune?
