Ford will not make it a 5.2

It’s gonna be a Bullitt+, meaning a PP2, Magnaride, PP2 style wheel package, functioning cold air off the hood and a slight bump in power 500 max and MACH 1 specific body parts
I think this is correct Ford isn't going to put any recourses into developing a N A version of the 5.2 for such a small run of cars.

... unless it ends up being the base GT engine in a year or 2.
That’s everyone’s hope, but isn’t feasible.

The 5.2 predator actually has the gen2 coyote top end, which is port injection only.

If ford made an NA version of this engine they would have to make it dual injection like the gen three coyote, and to put it in the next generation car it would need to have less emissions than the current 5.0 gen three. Not possible.

A 5.2 dual port injection at 480hp with the additional emissions equipment (that adds about 50lbs) might bring it to the same level as the current engine. See the issue here?

The predator is unfortunately 2014 technology released very recently in the GT500.

Ford could do a gen 4 coyote at 5.2L, but it wouldn’t be the current 5.2 in NA guise.
