Mine received about 2 months after picking up my 2020 R. Also took about a month to get the adjustable strut top mounts.

Took delivery of my 2020 on 9/25/19. By the end of December, I hadn’t received anything. I called FP and after a few minute hold, a supervisor told me my dealer didn’t do what they needed to do and they needed some info from me. I had to send FP my purchase contract so they could verify that I was the original purchaser and also a picture of my chassis number from the dash. After that, I received it a couple weeks later on 1/13/20 with great email communication from the supervisor.

If it’s been several months with no package received, definitely reach out to FP.

When I had my 16 and then 17 it took about a month then I got the package. Back then you had to sign for it and you got no previous notice it was coming. So some that weren't home and missed theirs had to call FP and get verification it was sent and returned then go through the process again of being home to receive it. And your right the majority of those that haven't received theirs is the dealership not doing there job first to get the ball rolling.

Same here. Called FP and they advised dealer had not sent them the sale info. I sent FP the required info and pictures and am waiting for package to arrive.

Thank you. Bought mine in august. I questioned my dealer about this when I bought my GT 350 and he lied to me. I guess I will contact ford performance today myself. Thank you. just hope it's not to late.

Please do not confuse laziness, stupidity, lack of caring etc for lying.
It’s so frustrating to deal with people who fit the above profile. All you can do is report the bonehead to the dealership GM and see what happens. If the GM was the culprit, move on to another dealership.
Albeit rare, there are some really good dealerships out there. It all starts with the owner.

Just wondering if forum members who purchased a new GT 350 or GT 350 R in 2019 received a package with books and a model of the flat plane crank engine. My GT 350 R that I purchased in august did not come with one, and when I questioned the dealer he said that Ford stopped giving those away with new purchases in 2019.

Did Ford stop the orientation packages with new Shelby's ?

It sounds like horse-shit to me.

I bought mine on June 11th and it came in at the end of August/September.

Thank you to everybody that responded and told me their experiences with their own new Shelby's and orientation packages. Wednesday I called my ford dealer and sent him a e-mail, 2 e-mails actually. My Ford dealer called Ford Performance and was told by Ford that the orientation package went out 1 week after I officially purchased the GT 350 R , but it was returned due to having the wrong address. The representative at Ford Performance in Dearborn called me the same day and explained what happened and told me they had the original packet that was returned in the mail and they where sending it right out ASAP. After 5 months ! I think this is very professional and I thanked him very much for the courtesy.

I have to say that this is my second encounter with dealing with ford directly. The other was also dealing with Ford performance about changing my date for the raptor assault school. Both times Ford has been very accommodating and great to deal with. I have heard a lot of negative stories about when vehicles have mechanical issues and ford can be difficult to deal with but I have not experienced that at all.

In the end I have to give a thumbs upto ford. They could have ignored this or sat on it for weeks, especially with the volume of customers they deal with.

I e-mailed my purchase info to Ford Performance on January 16/2020 and the package arrived today. That's fast.

Mine came in awful shape, most of the flaws were all INSIDE the closed up box, not sure why

The outer shipping box was fine, but when I opened the gift box, the upper "pouch" in the lid was torn, and the letter saying you are part of a small group, etc etc had flaws at the bottom of the page

Further, was I supposed to get an invite to the Ford Driving School? And is the 2019 pack supposed to have track tips brochure?

Also, I think some of the books you get have a little numbered sticker, like "you have copy 1545" or what have you?

The crank itself looked discolored, but that I think is commonplace?

Call them. I’m sure they’ll take care of it. I’ve had the same thing happen with other items that were shipped. It’s like a damn gremlin got in there and had a party just to piss me off.

Has anyone else had a thumb drive acting weird? I have a new PC, but when I tried it, it's blotchy and sketchy .... almost like a you tube video that doesn't' want to load

Copy the file off the USB? That sounds like a file read issue to me where it can't read it fast enough to render at full resolution
