I wanted to do a ported Cobra Jet on my Procharger setup. I was worried about my Boss manifold blowing apart under high boost(30psi) so i ended up with the Holley Race manifold.

It's coming. It will have stage 3 cams, ported cobra jet, and a vmp 163 monoblade tb. Should be interesting
Hey did you end up going with the build? How has it been holding up with stage 3 cams and p1x? I want to go the same build with my fbo e85 cj set up.

Update? I have a ported cobra jet, comp cams, and VMP 137 Mono, and was curious if the Procharger worked out on this setup.

I have a friend who runs this build but it's always hard getting a hold of him lol but yes its possible but I do know based what Alex told me from Lund Racing that the throttle body designed for the CJ's is not meant for pressure air being thrown at it so they will fail if they get boosted which sucks since the CJ makes so much power up top but I still wanna wing it lmao,

Yeah I knew the positive diaplacment means loosing the Cobra jet. I was worried on the vortec if the headunit would clear the Cobra jet with where it is placed. A little Fab work is no big deal, I have a tig welder and everything I need to make changes to the piping to fit the Cobra jet. I figure since the car has stage 3 cams and the Cobra jet and mono blade tb it should scream up top. I'd like to start out around 700 to 750 at the wheels, and grow from there, I get bored easily lol. I would imagine with my current mods that should be easily attainable.
Hey, I was thinking the same thing. If I go with a Centri like ESS, and use a CJ manifold, the increase in flow would have to be of benefit wouldn't you think?.

CJ looks cool, but why? I'm running a stock 18 manifold and make 972/818 on a dynojet at peak of 16psi with air filters and a full exhaust.

Can only speak for myself, I already was CJ/cams well before I put the ESS blower on. No reason to get rid of them when it works just fine and can only help. The looks are icing on the cake.

My thinking was, if you could increase the flow efficiency from the blower outlet to the cylinder, to me your blower wouldn't have to be spun as fast (less hp taken from engine to spin SC). Just wondering.
