Now that the first wave of GT500s has hit the ground has anyone used any aftermarket front license plate brackets?

Why ruin such a great looking car with a front plate? Sure there are laws and it's best to abide by them but these cars look so amazing without a tacked on plate. Haven't had a front plate on my cars for 15 years and only 1 ticket. Well worth the ticket imo. I'm sure there will be a sto n show style bracket soon if there isn't one already.

Yeah, they do look ugly. Wish there was option for something different. My state will give you points on second warning. Virginia hates cars.

I lived in Lacey in the 80s. Went to Chinook MS and then North Thurston HS. Class of 90. Lived on 18th Ave in Lacey.

I bet Lacey looks a million times different to you now! It's built up quite a bit in just last 8 years or so I've been here. I'm just off Yelm Hwy and College, likely all farmland or trees in the 80's lol.

I wish a) there would be a set standard above the state level and b) auto makers would design a place for plates up front if they were deemed required nation wide.

This is what I use on my GT350. Secures to the lower grill. Installs in minutes and there’s no modifications needed. Came from 392Advisers. I bought it on eBay for about 80 bucks. Hard to see against the black stripes which makes it excellent for me.

Yeah NY and NJ want 2 plates, I never did, ticket me, I'd rather pay the $42 (NJ) then ruin the car. They dont bother me and I've been around a slue of them.

Same here but I added a tinted cover. Ohio eliminated the front plate law effective July 1st this year but cops, school bus drivers are all bitching. I fear it will get reversed soon.

Just the GrimmSpeed version. Looks nice and just plugs in where the tow hook goes on the GT500.
