Here's what you get when you try to put a gt500 hood on a '19 gt350! Never knew the fenders were slightly different between the two. So unless you have a body guy or the skills yourself dont do it!

The bumper cover still lines up. It's just the gap from the windshield post / fender. Going to take some work put I'll make it work! In way to deep now to back out!

good deal, not too big of a mod if that's the only area that doesnt fit! did you source parts for the hood pins? mind sharing the pricing?

The only thing I havent found is how they secure the ball end to radiator support (inside round pockets)

I'm fortunate enough to buy at bodyshop prices and have to get Bill's out to be 100% accurate
475ea. ball end 80ea nuts and have to buy 4 when you only need 2 675ea for hood locks themselves 1700 hood 875 rain tray 300 in gaskets

That’s actually not to bad of a job. Use to use lots of round stock to fix gap issues.

Can you post some more pictures of the hoods fitment in other places along with an overall shot?

The dimensions are different so I suspect the whole front end sheet metal is different

As part of the update, Ford re-designed the front fenders and the rear portion of the hood. In doing so they also removed the interference between the driver's side wiper arm and the back of the hood, but no idea why they felt they needed to change the hood/fender profile where those two met unless it was to avoid people raiding the dealers parts supply for the GT500 hood ifor their GT350's leaving GT500 owners a reduced supply in cases where the hood was damaged somehow.

It's in the bodyshop now still work in progress at the moment. I'll definitely share pictures when done! Also repainting all the black on car to tuxedo black and putting real strips on it not that vinyl crap!

Yes the bumper cover is different but has same line across the top as the 350. It was a gamble when I started without physically seeing a 500 in person and going off limited pictures. Only part left to source is how the pin section is attached to radiator support

This is great! Nice to see you continuing this project. I would love to get my hands on a Carbon Fiber version of the GT500 hood for our GT350’s. Nobody seems to want to go through with it. The forced induction guys need this to retain the strut bar and extract heat.

Looking forward to the final product
