GT500 Track Tour - Charlotte Motor Speedway

I finally got an invite to the Track Tour to check out and drive the 2020 GT500. Anyone else going to this event or get an invite. My date is March 25th at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Cant wait as I enjoyed both the GT350 Track Tour and Track Attack events.

How did you register?
This is not the same as the GT500 Track Attack. This appears to be an east coast version of the Vegas Event.
I would guess that after this event is over, they will leave those GT500’s there for the Track Attack and the dates will open for that registration... (as the GT500 Track Attack registration is still not open).

Just like the Vegas event I got an email from Ford with a user code to register at www.GT500TrackTour.com. Its only a half day event just like the GT350 Track Tour was that I attended at Pocono Raceway a few years ago. My guess is the GT500 Track Attack will still be in Salt Lake as that is still where the Ford Performance Race School is. Plus the track can be broken into two halves if they wanted to run on either the east or west courses.

Thanks for that info Voodoo! I sent a note to both the owner and club member emails asking to participate. Let’s see if they respond.

They did respond promptly:
“Thank you for the inquiry and interest! For our 2020 GT500 Track Tour in Charlotte, we have limited capacity so we geo-targeted our invites to Mustang Owners in a certain radius of the track (and who've opted into Ford's Marketing Emails). Even with that, there's been a strong interest and our Charlotte session is now full.”

“That said, the GT500 Track Tour will also have a few more stops in 2020 that are still being finalized. I've made a note of your interest in our database and have added you to receive an upcoming invite.”

I hope to hear from them again!

Ford Racing has 25 base cars with VINs, 8 of them have been delivered to NC, the rest are waiting to be produced..

I’m an hour north of Knoxville, TN myself and I received the invite to Charlotte. I’m really looking forward to it but I have a feeling it’s gonna make me want trade in my 350 soon after. Lol
