You've clearly never look at vette mpg
Lol. You mean the pushrod car that is more aerodynamic, 500lbs lighter, and has cylinder deactivation? Also the Gen 3 Coyote makes more power than an LT1. Sorry, I'm more impressed with the Mustang.

2019 with 3.73's and I'm between 19-22. The display is nearly 1.5 MPG off each fill up.

The majority of my work commute is highway speeds.
Mine's off by 1.5 mpg also. My '15 was off by 1.1 mpg, but I was able to correct it in the Engineering Mode. I read somewhere we can't get into that on the 18+. Anyone know how to fix it now?

Looks impressive but, no disrespect intended, something doesn't add up. 38.1 average mpg, only 183.6 miles into the tank, and only showing 71 miles to empty? I'd think MTE would be closer to 200 or so under these circumstances?

Just wondering?
Steve R.
That's because the trip was reset many miles after the fill up happened. He probably reset it on the highway going downhill to get the 38. Just another guy trying to make something look like something it isn't.

Here it is. 33.5 mpg for a over 20 mile trip. No out and back due to a route change so here is a screen shot of the wind at the time. 4 mph north wind. I was driving north so a slight head wind. Elevation went from 50’ to 160’. No drafting as video shows.

Enjoy.

The statement was 25mpg from xxxhp...

Nothing else.

The vettes wins in mpg per hp

Makes me still wish the last MY of the SS Sedan had more improved features along with engine/ automatic transmission over the LS3/A6, It was not aerodynamic like a Corvette and heavier while even having a gas guzzler tax on the A6 transmission.

2019 GT Premium 6spd w/PP1, have been getting ~19.5mpg hand calculated in town (speed limit ranges from 45-55) at about 5k ft in altitude. Wouldn't mind getting better, but definitely can't complain.

The LT1 isn't too much better than the LS3 in that regard.

A huge reason is the body shape of the corvette, you may be lucky to get a MPG better with the LT1 (assuming same transmission).

My best friend had a 16 Camaro SS manual, I had a 17 Mustang GT (manual) and I pipped him by .2 mpg from Denver to Hays KS (hand calc). I think I did 24.4 and he did 24.2, bucking the wind, rolling down the freeway at a decent pace.

When I went to Utah in my GT350 with my buddy in his 5th gen 1LE headed there too, he consistently got me by 3 mpg. I was doing around 22 and him around 25, although there was no wind and we were on some 60 mph roads for a long time.

Well, from dealer pickup to today has been 5430.2 miles using 279.5 gallons of Shell 93 octane gasoline. 19.4 mpg overall including break-in, seldom under the mid-70s on the highway, and a reasonable amount of brisk driving on side roads. 2019 MT GT with 3.73 rear end.

Hell, it's better than my Tacoma !

I was pretty pleased with this - especially when you work out the average speed over 270 miles was 70mph. All done with adaptive cruise set at 80mph - 400 mile range ! Who needs an Ecoboost ?!!

I regularly see 30+ mpg on the highway according to the trip computer with cruise set to 65-70 mph. I don't go on long distance highway trips in the Mustang, so that's data from the relatively flat 7 miles of highway to/from work.

your trip computer is likely way off. You can adjust it.

My computer reads 24gpm avg now, hand Calc to 22-23mpg. And that's mostly highway with lots of rolling hills here in PacNW. I bet driving through Nebraska would yield upper 20's
