Yes. The whole shabang....
Thanks for clarifying! So, how does the steering behave with the revised knuckles? It sounds like the brakes are fine but doesn't the steering ratio change with the "high trail" knuckles or whatever Ford calls them?

Good lord those brakes are h.u.g.e!

First company to the market with a lightweight true floating 2 piece rotor set is going to make $$$$.
Totally. They will cost a little money given the size, but the weight savings could be worth it for the track rat.
Epic as always 50!
Thank you sir!

It may have been what affected the alignment so much, but now that it is back to my track specs the car feels great. I think that revised knuckle will be something felt more on track than under street conditions. Plus you would need to have the skill to perceive the change... which I probably lack lol

On the brake thing, RacingBrake has listed a kit on their website to replace the front 43# rotors with carbon ceramics at 19 pounds a side. Might be worth a call to them.

The reason I asked about steering is that I'm paranoid, or at least hyper-cautious, about changes that can affect vehicle dynamic systems. So, when you get to a track for the first time, pay attention to the steering (even more than the brakes) and build speed slowly. If there's been a change in the steering ratio, AdvanceTrak might decide that there's a problem and activate when you least expect it. So ease into the higher speeds and g-loadings.

It's there - just not on the menu for some reason - search for GT500 in the search box and you'll find it.

You have the link or you have the brakes? If you have the brakes then drop a pic for sure!

@50 Deep, are you looking to adopt? lol

I just went through this thread, amazing stuff! I was looking at the Llumar 80 tint as well, but have seen others say it really doesn't keep the heat out. With your experience with it, does it work?

I have had a good experience with it, but my climate is pretty moderate here. We get some 100 + degree weeks, but i usually drive another car for those days. Even if it was 10% less effective as a dark tint, its still 100% more effective at avoiding tickets.

Good to hear, im in LA, so very moderate here as well, and usually tops out in the 80s by me (gotta love that beach climate!)

The R has been sitting as of late, but soon to be back on a racetrack. Some will recall my swap to the 2020 GT500 front brakes prior. I loved the look, but hated the weight penalty. Finally was able to rectify that situation thanks to Racing Brake. Went from 42 lbs per rotor down to 19 lbs each.

Dream car acquired! Finally brought home a 2015 Porsche GT3. I’ve been a Ford guy forever but I always wanted a Porsche ever since the first Bad Boys movie. I can see why Ford benchmarked the new GT500 against these.
.
I kind of feel like I shouldn’t have it. I got tapped to help grow our Porsche connection at Signature Wheel and the cost of the car was extremely favorable from a friend. Otherwise it wouldn’t of happened. Looks damn good on our Precision Series SV705.
.
This is one hell of a car and I appreciate it a little more every time I drive it. 23 gallon extended tank and gets 20+ MPG. The car feels extremely nimble, solid, well engineered. Hoping to do some cool on track comparisons with my GT500 since both cars are PDK/DCT. There are some areas where I like the GT500 DCT more, recognizing a 5-year development gap of course. I still think I prefer the GT350R to all of them in terms of a drivers car.
.
Any recommendations on places to connect with the Porsche gents let me know. Drop a pic of yours if you have one!
