Trunk lock trim pieces

Not sure if this is the right place for this but it seems the most likely.
Anyway, I've got an 18 EcoBoost Convertible that I bought used. I never really noticed until recently that the trunk latch is missing a couple of trim pieces. Now that I have noticed it's bugging me. Looking at the parts sites online the only way I can find the pieces is as part of the larger rear trim piece, part number FR3Z-6345522-AB.

Dies anyone know a way to get just the two small pieces without spending $100?

Don't think I haven't thought about that solution. Still hoping for a less larcenous option though.

Did you buy it privately? Or dealership? Contact whichever and maybe the private sale still has the pieces kicking around. If a dealership, maybe they would replace for free, if purchased there????

My little pieces were missing when I bought my car. I took out the back panel and found that they fell down in spare tire well. I put it back together with the springs and no issues since.
