Are the current shifters any improvement over the 15- 17 ones. I had a 15 that was awful and replaced it with a MGW. Thinking about trading my 2019 A10 for a three pedal .

get the Steeda support bracket without question. Their short-shifter is good but not required.

I believe there are TINY tweaks, but its mostly the transmissions itself that was changed for improved shifting. I have seen people say that the 18+ is better than the 15-17 they came from. Still not as good as an aftermarket though.

I love the factory shifter in my 2017 with a Blowfish Racing bracket.

Yes the Steeda support bracket works great. I had a little difficulty removing the original one.

The gates in the transmission feel better for sure. But otherwise the mechanism hasn't changed.

If you don’t do anything else, I at least recommend doing the shifter bracket with the better bushing. Just looking at the two will easily show you now inferior the factory piece is compared to any of the billet aluminum brackets being offered.

Here’s a frontal view of the factory bracket and super-soft bushing which allows for more flex.

I never had lockout issues on my '19 GT and have not experienced it at all on my '20.

I have replaced stock shifters on my 2012, 2013 and 2019 GT350 with MGW shifters.
Self centering, short throw and very precise. George does a great job and stands behind his product.
